At our December 5th, 2010 Christmas theme meeting, besides installing the new Officers and Directors some of our members came dressed in their uniforms.

The Ft Wright Commons was the place to be on Sunday, December 5th for the Spokane MOAA Chapters Christmas Social.  The Air National Guard Band of the Northwest played Christmas songs before our meal of turkey and roast beef, sweet potatoes and whipped potatoes, with all the trimmings.
New Officers and Directors were installed and took their oath of office led by President Ralph Shrigley. 

Ralph also presented an award to Dick Oates for his years of service to the chapter as a director, president of the board and chair of the travel committee.  Dick will continue as the travel man. 
Bob Imle was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation for his outstanding work as the social chair, and he asked his right-hand woman/wife, Maggie, to stand and also be acknowledged for her contributions to the socials. 

Beth Ann Daigre received the President’s Award from MOAA President Norbert R. Ryan, VADM USN (Ret) For Exceptional Leadership and Meritorious Service in Support of the Objectives and Programs of the Military Officers Association of America.
