Celebrating Independence Day 2021

MOAA’s Spokane Chapter joined in the red, white and blue, patriotic festivities in the streets of Coeur d’Alene on July 4th along with crowds, music and dancing in celebration of America’s 245th birthday.

The two-hour-long parade march opened with the National Anthem performed by Brandon Michael, a local singer who performs with the Inland Northwest Opera before stepping off around 11 a.m. from 15th and Sherman Avenue. The route went through downtown to Independence Point with many floats and marchers, opening with military and police force to celebrate the theme, American Heroes, and honor those who served the county and community.
